The 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign 2020 | Wednesday, September 23rd to Sunday, November 1st
A group of eight (including our own Clare O’Brien) had been praying at the 40 Days for Life vigil for about an hour when a car leaving the abortion center parking lot stopped. The young woman in the car was smiling from ear to ear as she told the people on the sidewalk, I’m keeping my baby! Only God knows whether the baby’s life would have been saved if no one had been there, said John Noall, the Cleveland campaign director. What we do know is that the show-up rate for scheduled abortions declines dramatically when prayer warriors are on the sidewalks. What we do know is God hears and answers our prayers and babies are saved!
The 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign 2020 Kick-Off
More than 100 people launched the 40 Days for Life campaign in Cleveland. In addition to a talk from Sue Thayer, who went from a longtime Planned Parenthood manager to the 40 Days for Life outreach director, attendees heard from area pastors and pro-life leaders and glorified God with praise and worship music.
“Great rally,” said John Noall, the Cleveland campaign leader. “[The speakers] were all terrific and helped kick off the 2020 fall campaign with a BANG!”

Spring Campaign 2020 Update
The national team reports that 143 babies have been spared from abortion thus far in the 2020 Spring Campaign!!
“Bringing America Back to Life Convention”, March 6-7, 2020 in a Cleveland, Ohio Suburb

The 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign 2020
The campaign runs from February 26th – April 5th. We will be joined by 40 Days for Life National Director of Outreach, Sue Thayer, at the Closing Rally on Saturday, April 4th! Plan to join with HELP and other 40 Days for Life supporters at Preterm, the largest abortion provider in the State of Ohio, and conclude the 2020 Spring Campaign with praise and thanksgiving!
The Annual Bill & Clare O’Brien Pro-Life Dinner
Guest speaker at this year’s dinner was Bobby Schindler, brother of Terri Schiavo. The Knights of Columbus sponsored this event in the gym of St. Helen Catholic Church on February 8, 2020. Named for the late Bill O’Brien and his wife, Clare who were strong pro-life activists from the very beginnings. Today, Clare remains a faithful witness for the unborn. Bill was also active in the Knights and together with Clare were founding members of the HELP apostolate.
March for Life, Washington, DC
This annual event took place on January 24, 2020. This year President Donald J. Trump gave a speech at the March for Life Rally. He is the first sitting president to speak in person at the March. He did not disappoint the 100,000 in attendance. Members from St. Helen’s Life Teen traveled by bus to participate in the March for Life’s activities.
