​The 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign 2021

The campaign runs from February 17th – March 28th.  Plan to join with HELP and other Christians for 40 Days for Life – 40 days of prayer and fasting for the end of abortion. You are also invited to stand and peacefully pray anytime between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm during the vigil in the public right-of-way outside of  Preterm (Cleveland), the largest abortion provider in the State of Ohio, Planned Parenthood (Bedford Hts.) or Family Planning (Painesville.)


​The 40 Days for Life Spring  Campaign 2021 Kick-Off Rally

This year’s rally was held in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church gymnasium on Sunday, February 14th. It began with the public praying of the Rosary for the Unborn on Euclid Avenue in front of the Church. Then, participants came inside to warm up, partake of refreshments and listen to the speakers.

The Convention has become the premier educational platform of the pro-life community. The two day event features local, national and international recognized speakers addressing the challenges and opportunities currently facing the Right-to-Life movement. Acclaimed experts in politics, culture, science, media and theology join together to educate and inspire those dedicated to protecting the most vulnerable members of our society.


The Annual Bill & Clare O’Brien Pro-Life Dinner

Guest speaker at this year’s dinner, sponsored by Geauga Council #3304 Knights of Columbus, was held in St. Helen Catholic Church on Saturday, February 6, 2021. The guest speaker was Sister Dierdre Byrne who spoke at the 2020 Republican National Convention. Due to COVID-19 mandates, the meal was available in to-go containers for home or gym consumption. Named for the late Bill O’Brien and his wife, Clare who were strong pro-life activists from the very beginnings. Today, Clare remains a faithful witness for the unborn.  Bill was also active in the Knights and together with Clare were founding members of the HELP apostolate.
